The Medical Center received a $20,000 grant from the Amerigroup Foundation to provide health and medical services for children covered by Medicaid.
During its 11 years, the Columbus Health Department’s Health Expo has provided services for more than 12,000 people and performed more than 44,000 screenings, said Mark Ellis, one of the Expo’s event planners and the health promotions coordinator for the West Central Health District.
