The Phenix City Public Schools' Child Nutrition Program will hold a community-wide Family Fun Fitness Festival on Saturday, Oct. 25 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 at the track beside Phenix City Elementary School.
The event will begin with a 5K run and Wellness Walk at 8:30 a.m. Each school is also sponsoring a physical activity, such as bungee jumping, football tossing, dancing and jump rope.
Registration for the run and walk is $15 to cover the cost of an event T-shirt. All other events are free.
