Columbus' Doubletree Hotel needs 200 workers

Want an exciting job in the hospitality industry? Here's your chance:

To help Valley Hospitality find 200 full- and part-time workers to staff Columbus' Doubletree Hotel, the Georgia Department of Labor will assist in two days of recruiting next week, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Jan. 7-8 in The Marriott at 800 Front Ave.

The available positions include cooks, dishwashers, servers, housekeepers, room attendants, maintenance and security, as well as desk clerks, bell staff and night auditor.

Applicants should have six months' experience and a high school diploma or its equivalent. They should provide a resume, if possible, and be prepared for an interview. And they must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screening.
