Police search for suspect in gas station robbery
Police are looking for a man accused of robbing a Columbus gas station at gunpoint Saturday afternoon.
Columbus Police Sgt. Matt Blackstock said a masked man entered the Circle K on Milgen Road around 3:30 p.m. armed with a handgun.
He took an undisclosed amount of money from the store and fled on foot. Blackstock said he may have gotten into a silver or blue vehicle.
No one was injured.
The robber was described as a black, about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, wearing a mask and all black clothing. He was armed with a black handgun.

University student car shooting under investigation
A Columbus State University student told police her car was shot early Saturday morning.
Elizabeth Rollier, 22, told police that her car, a 1999 gray Amigo Isuzu, was in the parking lot at her apartment complex on Main Street, when it was shot around 3:30 a.m.
Witnesses said they saw two men and a woman shoot at the car before fleeing in a white Mitsubishi Eclipse with a sunroof.
The case remains under investigation.
