A recent letter ("Not in our interest," Aug. 6) accused our congressman, Lynn Westmoreland, of doing exactly what he promised. First, the letter-writer wagged her finger at Westmoreland for voting against several bills that would increase the size of government or put taxpayers on the hook for billions in new liabilities. Second, she blasted the congressman for supporting increased domestic oil exploration.
