A deli on Bradley Park Drive was robbed and two of the restaurant's employees beaten Saturday night, police said.

Eric Teal and Deidre Taylor, both 21, were sitting in the back office of Schlotzsky's Deli, 1522 Bradley Park Drive, about 10:30 p.m. counting the day's take when an armed man, wearing all black except for a pink and purple bandana covering his face, entered the store and confronted them, said Lt. Mark D. Starling.

The gunman hit Teal over the head with his weapon and kicked Taylor out of her chair onto the floor. He then directed Teal to stuff the store's cash into a bag. Teal complied and the robber ran off through the back door with an undisclosed amount of money.

Teal went to Doctor's Hospital where he was treated for his head wound and released. Taylor did not seek medical attention.
