More than 50 employers will participate in Career Launch, an opportunity for Columbus Technical College students and the general public to meet with potential employers at the college Wednesday.

Companies including Aflac, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Georgia, Columbus Regional Healthcare, Pratt & Whitney, The Hughston Clinic and Home Depot will participate in the effort that may include job interviews and the chance to work for companies in Columbus.

The event is 9 a.m.-noon in the college's Patrick Hall.

Those attending are encouraged to bring a resume and to dress properly for job interviews.

Breakout sessions also are planned to help them with resume writing, offer tips for success and learn about interview techniques.

For more information, visit www.columbustech.edu. For questions or to coordinate an interview at the event, contact Cheryl Myers, director of communications, at 706-649-1290 or e-mail her at cmyers@columbustech.edu.
