Joe Kines, former defensive coordinator and interim coach of the Alabama football team, will be the guest speaker today at the Columbus Quarterback Club.

Kines coached the Crimson Tide last season in the Independence Bowl, where Oklahoma State won 34-31. He also served as head coach at Arkansas and also was an assistant coach at Clemson, Florida, Georgia and Florida State. He also was an assistant coach with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Kines currently serves as an officer with Tide Pride at Alabama.

The Columbus Quarterback Club will meet at 6 p.m. at the Cunningham Center of Leadership Development at Columbus State University.
