Columbus State scored three goals in the second half, including one off a penalty kick by senior defender Judith Ospina as the Cougars beat Eckerd College 4-0 Sunday in the 2007 CSU Showcase finale at the CSU Soccer Complex.

The goal was the first ever by Ospina, a senior defender.

CSU (5-3) outshot Eckerd 31-1 overall but only led 1-0 after a goal by Sarah Hawkins in the 22nd minute. Hannah Ospina got an unassisted goal at 53:10 to give CSU a 2-0 lead before Judith Ospina's goal. Senior Brook Snyder scored her first goal for the final margin.

Monica Sanchez recorded her fifth win of the season.

CSU plays at Clayton State on Wednesday in a Peach Belt Conference game.
