Auburn museum presents "Art in Bloom" for spring

To celebrate spring make plans to visit the "Art in Bloom Exhbition and Extravaganza" April 3-5 at Auburn University's Jules Collins Smith Museum in Auburn, Ala.

The museum galleries will showcase an exhibition of select pieces from the museum's current collection partnered with floral arrangements created by designers from across Alabama.

Highlighting the show are presentations by Auburn alumnus and internationally accalimed designer Raymond Waites and the exhbition "Remix Revolution" which includes many of his original creations as well as sculpture and paintings collected during his travels around the world.

"Art in Bloom" opens at 5:30 p.m. CDST on April 3 with a lecture by Waites. A reception will follow the lecture. Admission is $25 for that event.
