Emmons is Columbus Tech top instructor

Donna Emmons has been named the Columbus Technical College instructor of the year.

Emmons, the winner of the Rick Perkins Award for Excellence in Technical Instruction, is a surgical technology instructor and lead advisor for the School of Health Sciences.

This July will mark her sixth year as an instructor at the school.

Three other finalists for the honor were Susan Hollingsworth, Stephen White and John Lipham.
