The cities of Lanett and Valley are giving residents the opportunity to recycle "e-waste" next Friday and Saturday.

The cities are partnering with Electronics Recycling Services of Atlanta, Georgia to provide a location for citizens of the Greater Valley area to recycle office related electronics free of charge.

A collection trailer will be located in the Lanett Mill parking lot on Gilmer Avenue in Lanett.

Among the items accepted are computers, monitors, phones, fax machines, printers, copiers, power supplies, backups, cell phones and rechargeable batteries.

Items not accepted are TVs, microwaves and radios.
