No Muscogee schools closing due to weather

No Muscogee County schools are closing due to weather, according to interim superintendent Peggy Connell.

The weather reports are constantly being monitored; school buses may not be dispatched if the county is under a tornado warning, due to safety.

At this time, the after school program has not been canceled.

If a decision is made to close schools a message would be sent to parents via Connect-ED, the district's telephone messaging system.
