Man loses wallet in Sunday afternoon robbery

A Columbus man lost his wallet and cash in a Sunday afternoon robbery, Columbus police said.

The 27-year-old was outside a gas station at 2206 Second Ave. around 3:20 p.m. when the suspect approached him with a knife and threatened him. The black man, aged 25-28 years old, standing 5-foot-10 and weighing 180 pounds, took a $225 uncashed check and another $200 in cash from the victim before fleeing.
