In the news, we have heard about a governor who wanted to sell a vacant Senate seat, a Wall Street firm founder swindling $50 billion, a governor put in prison for steering state business to cronies for bribes, an unsavory spectacle upstaged by New York Democrats to give a vacant Senate seat to John F. Kennedys daughter, etc. Its because of powermongering, money-grubbing, selfishness and lack of faith.
