A 62-year old Ellerslie, Ga., man was robbed at gunpoint Wednesday on Nina Street, Columbus police said.
The victim told police he was in the 1700 block of Nina Street when a man in his early 20s threatened him with a pistol shortly before 3 p.m. The robber took $700 and fled on what police described as a bicycle.
The victim was not injured and the holdup remains under investigation.
The gunman was described as black and in his early 20s. He was wearing a dark blue hoodie and possibly a red bandanna.
