The SPHL named Columbus Cottonmouths forward Michael George as its player of the week for the week of Jan. 5-11.
In three games, George had five goals and two assists.
After a seven-point weekend, George now has 11 goals and 16 assists in 31 games. He is second on the team in points scored with 27, trailing only Tim Green who has 33 points.
