Chattahoochee Shakespeare Co. holds auditions for "Taming of the Shrew" on March 29-30

The Chattahoochee Shakespeare Co. is holding auditions for "Taming of the Shrew" at 5 p.m. March 29 and 6:30 p.m. March 30 at 1242 Broadway.

Actors are asked to prepare a brief verse monologue of about 16 lines from a classic play. All actors are asked to be familiar with the play.

The script will be cut to about 70-80 minutes and it is set in 1950s-60s Italy from the films featuring Sophia Loren and Gina Lollobrigida and directed by Federico Fellini.

Rehearsals will begin with a Shakespeare Boot Camp on April 6. Performances will be in the Riverfront Amphitheatre on Front Avenue and Sixth Street.
