The city of Valley, Ala., has been awarded the Bronze Risk Management Award at the 2009 convention of the Alabama League of Municipalities.
Approximately 760 public entities participate in one or both of the Alabama League of Municipalities sponsored insurance programs.
The award system recognizes those members who have instituted risk management and loss control in efforts to reduce their loss ratio.
