Kendrick's Harris signs with Chattahoochee Valley

Published: April 22, 2009

Kendrick Lady Cherokee point guard Bonita Harris has signed a letter of intent to play college basketball at Chattachoochee Valley Community College.

Harris played on four Lady Cherokee teams that played in three Georgia High School Association Elite Eights, three Final Fours and won the 2008 GHSA Class AAA girls basketball championship.

Hicks said Harris was one of the most dependable basketball players he's had in his 10 years at Kendrick. The 5-foot-5 guard is part of a CVCC signing class that includes Smiths Station guard Dejah Heard.
