CULOWHEE, N.C. — Back-to-back seventh-inning doubles from Ross Heffley and Brent Greer capped a four-run rally for Western Carolina, which handed Georgia Tech a 10-9 loss on Wednesday.

Heffley and Greer had three hits apiece as the Catamounts tallied 16 in the game.

Cole Leonida led Georgia Tech with a 3-for-4 performance, while Jason Haniger and Chris House each added a pair of hits. Tony Plagman had three RBIs.

Georgia Tech (27-9-1) led 9-6 before Western Carolina (23-16) scored two runs in the sixth and seventh innings to take the lead.
