Danny Veltri was named the winner in the finale of the fifth season of Fox's "Hell's Kitchen."

Veltri topped fellow competitor Paula DaSilva.

Veltri won $250,000 contract to run a new restaurant at the Borgata in Atlantic City, N.J.

Chef Stephen Kalt, who will be Danny's new boss, presented him with a gleaming white chef's jacket. He says the restaurant will open in about a month.

Danny, wearing a backwards white baseball cap, tells the crowd that the experience has been amazing. "It's such a great blessing to have such a great opportunity," he says, his voice breaking. "It's the best thing that has ever happened to me."

Danny says "He's going to be living in the kitchen," says Kalt.
