Opelika man Troy Bryan killed in car accident

Troy Waylon Bryan, 38, of Opelika, Ala., was killed in a car accident that happened at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

He was pronounced dead at 8 p.m. by Deputy Coroner Charlotte Patterson.

Bryan was driving a 1999 Mazda 626. When police arrived at Andrews Road near the intersection of Anderson Road, they found the vehicle upside down.

The car had been traveling west on Andrews Road when it left the road on the south side, crossed the roadway and overturned.
