A Pittsview, Ala., woman was found dead at the bottom of her swimming pool early today.
Donora K. Alaimo, 65, was wearing a T-shirt and some pants when discovered around 8 a.m. in her in-ground pool, Russell County Coroner Arthur Sumbry Jr. said. Sumbry said he didn't know how long she had been in the water when found.
Her body has been sent to Montgomery, Ala., for an autopsy. Preliminary results should be available in a week to 10 days, Sumbry said.
