Johnny Ford, former mayor of Tuskegee, Ala., and former Alabama state legislator, will announce Tuesday that is he running for the Alabama State Senate to represent the 28th Senatorial District.
He said today that the district needs a senator who will support agriculture and the farmers and fight for new industry.
"I will continue to be a strong supporter of public and higher education," he said.
