Columbus weather: Scattered t-storms, high in the upper 80s

Scattered thunderstorms are expected today throughout the Chattahoochee Valley.

The high temperature should be near 89 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

Tonight, there's a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. The low will be around 72 degrees.

Weekend temperatures will linger in the high 80s to low 90s.

Friday there's a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday there's a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.
