Four area residents have received a degree from Kaplan University. All of the work was done online.
A graduation ceremony was held in Chicago with actress America Ferrera as guest speaker.
Getting degrees were Angela Cook of Opelika, Ala., Monica Parker of Manchester, Ga., Donna Repasky of Columbus and Heidi VanMetre of Fort Benning.
