At the end of the final performance night of the fifth season, judge/producer Nigel Lythgoe predicted Jeanine Mason or Brandon Bryant will win this installment of "So You Think You Can Dance."
Bryant has been a front-runner since this season's early stages, while Mason only recently picked up steam. Both dancers delivered standout solos Wednesday night, and stood out in partner routines.
But their spots as the winner and runner-up are hardly guaranteed. The other two finalists, Evan Kasprzak and Kayla Radomski, also have strong fan followings.
Kasprzak, a Broadway-style dancer, has hooked viewers with his old-fashioned charm. At one point in Wednesday's show, members of the Kodak Theatre audience even started chanting his name. Perhaps Kasprzak's least successful moment in Wednesday's show was when he attempted to rough up his image while dancing to Janet Jackson's "Nasty" with Bryant.
Radomski, meanwhile, has been a judges' favorite from the audition phase of the competition. Her dances are almost always flawless, but she's been criticized for a lack of personality. Lythgoe said her personality finally came through Thursday.
Adam Shankman was the guest judge on Wednesday's show.
Who will win the title? Find out on Thursday's two-hour results show, which begins at 8 p.m.
