The Columbus Tea Party is scheduled to hold a protest Friday at Rep. Sanford Bishop’s Columbus office.
The protest at 18 Ninth St. is scheduled from noon to 1 p.m. According to columbusgateaparty.com, people are advised to stay off the street, and remain on the sidewalk with at least two feet between people.
“This could be good for spreading us out for a number of blocks and creating a larger presence,” the Web site states.
