More than 300 new pavers along Heritage Walk were dedicated during a brief ceremony Wednesday morning at the National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center at Patriot Park.

Among the pavers were several in memory of graduates of the Officer Candidate School Class of 1969. Red roses were placed adjacent to these prior to the ceremony by classmates.

“This is really one of the most important programs we have at the National Infantry Museum because of who we are honoring,” said Ben Williams, executive director of the National Infantry Foundation.

Proceeds from sales of the $250 pavers help support the operation of the National Infantry Museum and Soldier Center.
