CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Columbus State, ranked No. 5 nationally in Division II, pushed its winning streak to 10 games Sunday at Queens University of Charlotte, taking a 3-0 win. The victory is the Lady Cougars’ (10-0-1) seventh shutout in the past eight games.
The Lady Cougars have allowed just two goals by opponents in its first 11 games.
Gina Goforth, K.C. MacEachern and Laurel McKenzie (from twin sister Jordan McKenzie’s corner kick) scored for CSU. The Lady Cougars dominated with a 25-1 margin in shots.
