Russell County Coroner Arthur Sumbry Jr., released the names this morning of the man and woman who were killed Thursday in a Phenix City crash.
Robert Auker, 80, and Hazel Auker, 78, of Phenix City were killed near U.S. 280 and U.S. 80, Sumbry said.
The wreck involved the couple’s PT Cruiser, which was westbound, and a freight liner truck, which was headed north, Sumbry said.
