A Little Caesars Pizza restaurant in Columbus was robbed Friday while customers were inside.

No one was injured during the holdup, said Police Sgt. Frank Massa.

Around 10:20 p.m., the gunman entered the business at 3740 Macon Road and demanded money. A manager and three to four customers were in the restaurant at the time. No patrons were robbed and no shots were fired, Massa said.

The man took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on food toward the wooded area behind Little Caesars.

He is described as black with a dark complexion and thin build, about 5 feet 7 to 5 feet 10 inches tall. He wore a black doo-rag, white t-shirt, blue jeans, a blue and white bandana over his face and black gloves with the word “Mechanic” on it.

Police are investigating.
