Columbus crime: Securitas employee robbed inside Convention & Trade Center

A Securitas employee was robbed inside the Columbus Convention & Trade Center, police said.

The 60-year-old man was inside the building at 801 Front Ave. between 2-2:15 a.m. Monday when a suspect pointed a shotgun at him, reports state. He was robbed of his cell phone and a note pad.

The man wasn’t hurt, police said.

The suspect is a black man in his 50s, 5-foot-10 to 6-foot and 160-170 pounds, reports state. He had a light complexion and was wearing a black ski mask.
