Dottie Peoples to headline church's anniversary weekend

Dottie Peoples will give a gospel concert at 7 p.m. Nov. 13 at Central Baptist Church, 576 Central Church Road, Ellerslie.

Peoples' performance is part of the church's 125th anniversary weekend.

Performing with Peoples: The Willis Sisters and the Central Baptist Mass Choir, along with the pastor, the Rev. Joseph McKelton.

Tickets are a $20 donation. Call 706-573-1230 or 706-575-6448 for tickets.

The church anniversary will be celebrated at a service at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 15. The speaker is the Rev. James Harris of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist in Columbus.
