When it comes to promoting the H1N1 vaccine, the Columbus Department of Public Health is leading by example.
This morning at 9:30 a.m., Christy Hubbard, the Director of Safe Kids Columbus for the Columbus Department of Public Health, who is in her 3rd trimester of pregnancy, will roll up her sleeve to receive the 2009 H1N1 Inactivated Flu Shot.
Pregnant women are among those at highest risk for complications of influenza, according to the health department.
