College football update: Fort Valley State defeats Albany State 35-13

Fort Valley State used a pair of second-half turnovers to build on a first-half lead as the Wildcats defeated Albany State 35-13 on Saturday afternoon in the Fountain City Classic at A.J. McClung Memorial Stadium.

The Wildcats rallied for a touchdown late in the second quarter to take a 14-10 lead into the break and pulled away with a pair of touchdowns just 12 seconds apart late in the third quarter to go ahead 28-10. They added an interception return for a touchdown early in the fourth quarter.
