LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Atlanta Braves catcher Brian McCann is among the 18 Major League Baseball players awarded a 2009 Silver Slugger Award for being the best offensive produces at their position and in their league.
McCann and Joe Mauer of the Twins collected their third Silver Slugger Awards as catchers. The rest of the honorees, as voted by managers and coaches:
