A Columbus man was accused Saturday of hitting a 12-year-old boy with a bottle, reports state.
Tony L. Harris, 46, was charged with aggravated assault, police said. According to reports, a man told an officer that he saw Harris hit the boy in the forehead with a beer bottle while outside a Calvin Avenue home.
Harris was taken to the Muscogee County Jail. While speaking with police, Harris began cursing in front of children, police said. A strong odor of alcohol led police to also charge him with disorderly while intoxicated.
