"Cool History: The Dramatic Capture of the USS Water Witch" will be presented Nov. 27 and 28. The star of the show will be the newly constructed USS Water Witch at Port Columbus National Civil War Museum.

Uniformed reenactors and an exciting narrative account of the battle will reveal the tale of the ship's night capture near Savannah, Ga., during the summer of 1864.

The tours are scheduled for 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. with a firing of the museum's original cannon following the final tour each day.

The event is open to the public at regular admission price.

Port Columbus which features original Civil War vessels, uniforms and weapons, will be open on Thanksgiving day 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
