Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 201 Seale Road in Phenix City, is having the Elijah Overcomers Conference beginning at 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday.
No cost to attend. Lunch will be served on Saturday
The conference will consist of speakers, testimonies, gift bags and food. The theme is “Overcoming Temptations."
Minister Bobby Whittlesey will be the speaker on Friday and Minister Brandon Smith of Montgomery, Ala., on Saturday.
In addition, New Mt. Zion will have a Thanksgiving Day service at 10 a.m. Thursday, and a Reaching Out service at 11 a.m. Nov. 29.
