Author and Episcopal priest the Rev. Barbara Crafton will speak at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 16, and lead a Quiet Day from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Dec. 17, at Trinity Episcopal Church, 1130 First Ave.
Her theme is "Letting the Christmas Story Tell Itself."
For the Wednesday evening program, she will read from her book "Mary and Her Miracle: The Christmas Story Retold" and lead a discussion on different ways of using scripture. The Quiet Day will involve imagining members of the holy family in ways that bring them alive.
