A Columbus man was injured at his Blackmon Road home in a physical altercation with a burglar.
It happened between 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Thursday.
The homeowner suffered head laceration as well as facial swelling and bruising.
The thief, who got away, stood between 6-foot-2 and 6-foot-4 and had braided hair.
Columbus police are investigating.
