Columbus crime: Burglary at housing authority

Suspects broke into a housing authority building on Elizabeth Circle on Monday, leaving several packages of cheese crackers, police said.

The suspects kicked in the front door of one of the buildings between 6 and 6:20 p.m., causing $1,000 in damages, reports state. They left through the back door.

Eighteen packs of cheese crackers were found at the scene.

A witness told police that he saw several men carrying plastic bags in the area around 6:30 p.m.
