A Christmas grinch with a gun robbed a Salvation Army bucket at Columbus Park Crossing on Saturday, police said.
The suspect was outside of Sears, 5555 Whittlesey Blvd., around 2:50 p.m. when he pointed a gun at a man and demanded the $30 bucket, Sgt. Frank Massa said.
No one was hurt and no shots were fired, the sergeant said.
“They just took the little metal bucket with the money in it,” Massa said.
Police don’t know how much money was inside the bucket.
The suspect is a white man, 40- to 50-years-old with a bald head and a gray beard. He has brown eyes and was wearing a gray, pink and yellow polo shirt, reports state. Massa said the suspect left in a silver van.
No arrests were made, police said.
