After a week that bachelor Jake Pavelka found "emotionally draining," he eliminated three bachelorettes on Monday's episode of "The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love."

Those not continuing:

Michelle, the 25 year old from California, was asked to leave the show before the rose ceremony. "He just kicked me to the curb," she said.

Valisha, 32, said "I came with a heart that was open... I'm used to things not going my way."

Elizabeth, the 29-year-old nanny from Nebraska, told Jake she wasn't going to kiss him unless she was the last woman left on the show. "I'm upset... I just feel like I have an idea of who he is and what kind of man he is and I felt like we were advancing as a couple."

Those who will continue on next week's show:

Ella: 29, a hairstylist and single mom from Tennessee

Vienna: 23, Florida

Gia: 26, a swimsuit model from New York

Corrie: 23, Kissimmee, Florida

Tenley: 25, Oregon

Ali: 25, an account manager from Massachusetts

Jesse: 25, Canada

Kathryn: age 25, a flight attendant from Kentucky

Ashleigh: 25, Maryland

Here's a recap of Monday's show:

Vienna, a 23 year old from Florida, received the first one-on-one date with Jake. The pair boarded a helicopter and flew over the house where the other bachelorettes were sunbathing by a pool. Though no one said anything specifically bad about Vienna, most seemed to think Vienna would not return with a coveted rose.

"It baffles me that she's still here," Ashleigh said.

The helicopter landed near a bridge where the two were supposed to bungee jump. That's when Jake and Vienna discovered they were both afraid of heights. Jake's fear was surprising since he's a pilot. "I'm terrified of heights. In an airplane you're enclosed. You're safe, and you're secure."

A scared Vienna calmed down an anxious Jake. While the two were hanging upside down, Jake kissed Vienna.

"She rises to the occasion and I think that is something that will carry a relationship," Jake said.

After bungee jumping, Jake and Vienna went to Jake's house for some wine, dinner and pool time. Vienna received a rose. "I'm on cloud Jake right now," Vienna said. "I'm having the best time of my life... Jake is my prince charming... Today is the best day of my life, so far, but I think the best day of my life, ever, is gonna be when I marry Jake."

When Vienna returned to the bachelorettes' house, she didn't receive a warm welcome. "I'm just so unbelievably shocked that she came home with a rose," Ali said.

The group date with Ashleigh, Tenley, Ali, Michelle, Elizabeth, Jessie, Corrie and Kathryn took place at a comedy club where Jon Lovitz helped the women be creatively funny. Each bachelorette had to perform a short routine for a crowd of strangers. Before the performances, Ashleigh had a meltdown and started crying. Jake tried to give her a joke to help her out.

Corrie's routine focused on making fun of the other women in the house, don't-kiss-me Elizabeth told dirty jokes, Michelle shared bizarre jokes, Tenley showed off her flexibility instead of her humor and Ashleigh told blonde jokes.

"I'm so proud of you," Jake told the bachelorettes at the after-party.

During her one-on-one conversation, Tenley told Jake that she had been married before and her husband left her for another woman. She told Jake that her ex-husband was the only man she'd ever been with.

"I don't want that to be a piece of me but it is," she said. Jake was understanding and gave her a sympathy hug.

Ashleigh told Jake that the other bachelorettes were surprised that Vienna got a rose after her one-on-one date.

"I'm really surprised that so many girls have so much negativity toward Vienna," Jake said.

Ali also told Jake that Vienna was not popular in the house. The biggest problem appeared to be Vienna's constant chatter about her one-on-one date with Jake.

"I'm trying to make all of these women happy, but I don't know how to do it," a frustrated Jake said after hearing the women complain about Vienna.

When Michelle got her one-on-one time with Jake, she told him how much she wanted to get married and asked if she could kiss him. He agreed. The kiss didn't go well for Michelle. "You gotta give me something more than that," she said.

"I'm almost ready for this night to be over," Jake replied.

"I can't stay. I really want to stay, Jake, I really do, I feel that we do have a connection, yet to spend this time with you and not to be able to really kiss you, hurts me," Michelle said.

"Michelle, I think it would be better if you did leave," Jake said. He walked Michelle outside to a waiting cab.

Jake returned to the other bachelorettes and told them he wasn't going to give out a rose on the group date because he needed time to digest what he'd learned.

The women were surprised, but they hoped that he learned "the truth" about Vienna.

Back at the house, Vienna apologized and promised to respect the other women's feelings by watching her words. Ali and Ashleigh would not accept her apology. Vienna started to cry and promised that she was being sincere.

Ella received the second one-on-one date of the episode. A helicopter picked up the couple and flew them to Sea World. Jake surprised Ella by having her son Ethan meet them at the park.

"Watching Jake and Ethan, it felt right," Ella said. "He would make an unbelievable father," she said about Jake. At the end of the date, Jake gave a rose to Ella.

At the cocktail party before the rose ceremony, Jake told Elizabeth that he thought she was teasing him by saying how much she wanted to kiss him, but refusing to kiss him. "I think I am sitting here with the queen of mixed symbols," Jake said.

"I've known people... who have elected not to kiss for spiritual reasons, and I don't think that's what it is with you." Elizabeth said he was right. "If someone's just using that to tease, then that's not right," Jake said. Elizabeth explained that she had a jealous side and didn't like to think about Jake kissing other women. He said that's how he chose to show affection. Vienna interrupted the conversation which earned her the wrath of the other women. Elizabeth later continued her conversation with Jake, but it seemed strained. "I don't think Elizabeth knows who she is," Jake said in his solo interview.

Before the rose ceremony, Jake said "I'm just emotionally drained."

Eliminated from the show during week two:

Rozlyn Papa: The 28-year-old model was asked to leave the show after being accused of having an "inappropriate relationship" with a producer on the show. The producer was fired. Rozlyn has denied that anything romantic or sexual happened.

Ashley: 29, a teacher from Pittsburgh. "Though it sucks that I'm going home, and that I didn't find my Prince Charming, I don't want to see him hurt again."

Christina: 25. "I'm disappointed because Jake is someone that I definitely could see myself marrying." She added that she knew "for a fact" that some remaining girls weren't on the show for the right reason.
