Volunteers from the AARP will be offering free tax help at the Columbus Public Library beginning Feb. 2.

Volunteers will be in the CB & T room from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday, except Feb. 18 and March 11, to offer assistance for people preparing their taxes.

All locations of the Chattahoochee Valley Libraries will have federal and state tax forms and booklets available while supplies last.

For more information and a list of required documents needed to prepare your taxes, see the library's Web site.

Ledger-Enquirer is pleased to provide this opportunity to share information, experiences and observations about what's in the news. Some of the comments may be reprinted elsewhere in the site or in the newspaper. We encourage lively, open debate on the issues of the day, and ask that you refrain from profanity, hate speech, personal comments and remarks that are off point. Thank you for taking the time to offer your thoughts.
