On the fifth week of "The Bachelor: On the Wings of Love" bachelor Jake Pavelka sent Corrie, the 23-year-old from Kissimmee, Fla. home.
"I don't get it," Corrie said. "I don't do good dating a guy who's dating other girls at the same time."
After Jake complained that his relationship with Corrie was moving slowly, she "opened up" to Jake and told him that she was a virgin. Jake said he respected her values, but "I can't really ignore the fact that there was just something missing. It just didn't feel right."
The four remaining bachelorettes will take Jake to their hometowns on next week's episode. Still in the competition:
Tenley: 25, Oregon
Ali: 25, an account manager from Massachusetts
Gia: 26, a swimsuit model from New York
Vienna: 23, Florida
Here's a recap of Monday's show:
The five remaining bachelorettes traveled from L.A. to San Francisco. When an invitation for a two-on-one date arrived at the hotel in which the women were staying, Corrie told enemies Vienna and Ali they were chosen for the date.
Ali's response? "I think I'm going to be sick."
"Ali just pisses me off," Vienna said.
Luckily, Corrie was joking. Vienna and Gia were selected to go on the two-on-one date.
Jake chose Tenley for the first one-on-one date of the episode. The couple had fun shopping in Chinatown followed by a serious conversation over dinner. Jake wanted to know more about Tenley's first marriage.
"Tenley, of all the girls, is the one I picture most as my wife," Jake said.
When Jake asked Tenley what mistakes she'd made in her marriage, Tenley said she took too many things for granted. She vowed not to make the same mistake again.
When asked about his expectations of marriage, Jake said, "I expect my wife to always have my back." Mutual respect was also important.
"We line up on so many things," Jake said about Tenley.
Vienna and Gia met Jake at a winery in Napa for an overnight date. Jake was worried about balancing his time between the two women. "It's almost awkward," he said. Almost?
Gia said she felt like a third wheel until Jake took her aside for a one-on-one conversation. "I'm really, really into you," Jake said. "I'm falling for you." Gia said she was falling for him, too.
During his one-on-one time with Vienna, Jake asked what she wanted in a marriage. "I want to have fun with my husband. I want to travel," she said.
Jake then showed Vienna and Gia the room they would share for the night. Jake left to go to his own room.
"As much as I love Gia this is a pretty awkward date," Vienna said. "I'm really concerned... What guy wouldn't like her?" she asked about Gia.
Vienna decided to take action and left her room and went to Jake's.
"I'm laying in bed. Not quite naked. Close. Vienna walks in, sexy as hell, with two glasses of wine. I assure you, I had dirty thoughts. But I was really worried that Gia would think that something was going on. Nothing was going to happen. It was going to be rated G all the way."
Vienna sensed Jake's awkwardness and left his room. She admitted that she was worried that her boldness may have backfired. "I don't know what he's thinking," Vienna said.
On Corrie's one-on-one date with Jake, the couple took a canoe ride. There was an awkward moment when the couple almost kissed, but couldn't quite connect.
"I just can't figure her out," Jake said.
During their dinner, Jake told Corrie that he needed her to open up to him. "I know that I move slower than the other girls," Corrie said. She explained that she wasn't a recreational dater, but that she really liked Jake. "I would love to bring you home to my family," she said.
Jake started asking tough questions. Corrie said she wouldn't live with someone before she was married. Jake asked Corrie if she was "saving herself for marriage." She said yes.
"I can't tell you how much I respect the fact that she just opened up and told me," Jake said.
Before the rose ceremony, Corrie was worried about her confession. "Just because I'm a virgin doesn't mean I'm not in touch with my sensual side," she said.
Jake told Corrie not to worry about being labeled. "It's not about sex appeal... this is about heart appeal."
On his one-on-one date with Ali, Jake wanted her to show off her city.
Ali said a typical Sunday included checking her e-mail first thing in the morning. Jake asked if Ali worked seven days a week. She said she didn't, but "I just really want to be the best I can be at my job."
After her morning e-mail session, Ali said she enjoyed going to brunch at a place where she could eat outside.
"We're here in my city, and it's just relaxing and nice," Ali said about the date.
After opening a bottle of sparkling wine, Jake asked Ali about the last rose ceremony and her attitude toward Vienna. "I'm ready to let go of that," Ali said.
Before the rose ceremony when Jake gave his solo interview, he said he was holding back with Vienna to be fair to the other women. He said he was done with that. "I'm just going to let my heart go and see where it lands."
