Columbus Habitat for Humanity has been awarded a grant for $25,000 from an area foundation toward its annual Collegiate Challenge Build in March. In order for Columbus Habitat to receive this grant, the non-profit is required to match the amount awarded.

Funds are currently being sought.

Donations are 100 percent tax-deductible. The funds will go directly towards the construction cost of a Habitat home built by college students spending their spring break working on these homes. The fundraising deadline is March 1. The donation can be made in payments but must be paid in full by Dec. 31. E-mail questions to hfhdev@cahfh.com or call 706-653-6003.
