Several Muscogee County schools are hosting Black History programs this month.
Columbus High will present its program "The Early Years of Motown" at 1:25 p.m. and 2:10 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 18 in the auditorium of the high school on Cherokee Avenue. The drama department at Fort Middle School will present at play, "Black Butterfly Emergence," at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24. The play will honor the contributions of blacks to American history.
